For the second year in a row, the Sunshine Kids Foundation has been selected as an official charity of the Chevron Houston Marathon’s 2011 Run for a Reason Campaign. Last year was a huge success as friends and supporters raised nearly $50,000 for young cancer patients in Texas and across the country. |

Heroes Program |
|
| |
Support the Sunshine Kids and be a Hero! We have a limited number of Heroes Entries available. For a $350 up front tax deductible donation plus the registration fee you can purchase your guaranteed entry into the Marathon or Half Marathon. Fundraising for Registration |

Sunshine Kids have a limited number of entries available for the Full and Half Marathon and will provide these on a first-come, first-serve basis. Commit to fundraise $1,000 or more and be guaranteed a race entry. Fundraising for Registration entries are secured by completing a Fundraiser Commitment Form and submitting payment of the registration fee to the Sunshine Kids. (2011_Fundraiser_Commitment_Form). |

Full Marathon entry spots - $115 registration fee each with a commitment to raise a minimum of $1,000 for the Sunshine Kids by November 15, 2010. |

Sidewalk Squad Sponsorship |

The Run for a Reason’s Sidewalk Squad corporate sponsorship program offers local businesses an incredible opportunity to be a highly visible part of Houston’s largest single-day sporting event while supporting the Sunshine Kids! In 2010, $1.8 million was raised for charity!
